In the subsequent meeting, Zhou Xiaoyang, the deputy secretary of the county party committee, introduced the development of the county's foundry industry and county magistrate and Zhang Wandon, the head of Jiahe County, introduced the next step in the development of the county’s foundry industry. Through on-site assessment and reporting, the expert group agreed to continue recommending to the Confederation of Chinese Metalforming Industry to maintain the honorary title of The Foundry Capital in South China in Jiahe County. They also put forward suggestions on the problems that the foundry industry needs to do in specific work and the issues of refined management.
Since 2017, Jiahe has pushed forward the high-quality development of the foundry industry by vigorously promoting the transformation and upgrading of the foundry industry and eliminating backward production capacity. Foundry has become the first pillar industry of Jiahe County, and has played an important role in expanding employment, improving people's livelihood, increasing income and taxes.
