Good news came from Tangcun Hardware Forging Association on March 15, 2011. Forging Association exhibited for the first time and made a breakthrough at the 19th China International Hardware Expo 2011 held in Shanghai from March 9 to 11, and signed hardware tool orders for more than 21 million CNY.
The 19th China International Hardware Expo in Shanghai is a long-standing exhibition in our country, held every year in mid-March. The exhibition was originally called the China International Hardware Expo, which originated from the National Hardware Commodities Fair. So far, it has been held for 117 consecutive times. It is the largest, most professional, and influential international hardware exhibition in Asia. The Expo has been listed as a key brand exhibition supported by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China for many years and has been rated as China's A-level exhibition by the national authority. The Tangcun Forging Association was organized by Xiangjiang Tool Factory, Shunli Forging Company, and Zhongxing Tool Company. A total of 12 companies and 26 people participated in this fair. They brought more than 100 sets of samples and 1,216 products, including the series of wrench and wire cutters, agricultural tools, and high-quality stainless steel cutters.
Tangcun Town has a long history of forging industry for more than 200 years. From the original production of sickles, kitchen knives, choppers, axes, and hoe to the production of wrenches, wire cutters, machine tools, and more than 100 types of hardware tools, Tangcun Town won the reputation of The Hometown of Forge.
Since the association was established more than 5 months ago, in the spirit of information sharing, resource complementation, technology promotion, and win-win development, the function of the association has been fully utilized. Through the daily activities of the Forging Association, the members exchange production experience, research and analyze market dynamics, and continuously improve their ability to cope with market risks and product competitiveness. Since the establishment of the association, member companies have achieved a total output value of 594 million CNY and industrial added value of 183 million CNY with year-on-year growth of 28.6% and 15.2% respectively.
